The Streetsboro Community Christmas is a program that allows parents, who may not otherwise be able, to shop for their children for Christmas at no cost to them. This began in 2004 by Pam Danner when she realized that there was not a program specifically for Streetsboro residents. The first year, 96 children benefited from this, and it has grown to nearly 450 children per year! Volunteers assist parents in shopping at the St. Joan of Arc Hall. We have a gift wrapping station, bags of fruit, and we even offer soup while they are waiting to shop!
This program is possible because of donations from many local businesses and countless individuals! We offer clothing, games, toys, stocking stuffers, etc.
What a wonderful way for our community to come together to share in the true meaning of Christmas!
